The city has 47 hospital beds, all maintained by the SUS. Between 2013 and 2022, there was a 46.9% increase in the number of beds per hospitalization in the Municipality.

Fazenda Rio Grande has 175 top-level health professionals. In the last ten years, there has been an increase of 127.3% in these professionals. The Municipality has 0.87 doctors for each group of 1,000 inhabitants, lower than the State average of 2.42 and Brasil’s 2.20. According to data from the Ministry of Health, Fazenda Rio Grande also has 47 nurses with higher education and 36 dentists.

Outpatient Production, carried out and approved by the SUS, in 2022, totaled 1.4 million procedures in Fazenda Rio Grande for its residents. In financial terms, SUS approved and paid for these procedures a total of 9.6 million reais in the same year for its own and accredited units. Hospitalizations by place of residence in the Municipality reached 8.7 thousand cases in 2022, and a total of 20 million reais were paid by the SUS.
